Platy Fish (Xiphophorus maculatus) belongs to the family of Poeciliidae. They have colorful body characteristics and dorsal fins. This fish species needs easy and simple maintenance and is not picky about the substrate. It can live well with aquarium gravel, sand, or gravel substrates in an aquarium with a minimum size of 10 gallons.
